Our website grants you non-exclusive limited license to use the program and other products sold and distributed through our website (https://XOcademy.com) by Great Lakes Dental Education, LLC. (dba XOcademy) (the “products”) in accordance with these Terms & Conditions (the “license) issued by our company.
All purchased licenses are active for updates for one year unless explicitly stated otherwise. Licenses will continue to be functional after the first anniversary of activation, but updates will be provided only for licenses with active update contracts (annual renewal).
- Automatic Upgrades
Automatic Upgrades are available to customers who have purchased a support license. All update contracts are valid one year unless explicitly stated otherwise. You may not share or resell access to your support license key. By purchasing the software license, you are opting-in to automatic renewal of your license (annual renewal) unless you notify XOcademy in writing not less than 30 days prior to your anniversary date.
- Delivery
After we have successfully processed your payment, you will receive an activation USB dongle for purchases of a new exocad license. This may take up to 10 business days to arrive, but usually happens sooner. If you do not receive an email after this time period, please contact us at info@XOcademy.com. You should have immediate access to online content via your login name and password, which can be used to access all online media.
- Refund Policy
As we are offering non-tangible digital goods distributed from the manufacturer, we cannot issue refunds after the purchase has been made. We will be happy to consider a refund within the first 30 days of your purchase if the hardware is received in a non-functional condition. Refunds will be granted at the sole discretion of the manufacturer, exocad, GmbH, and are not decided upon by Great Lakes Dental Education, LLC nor XOcademy. Sales of all exocad dongles and add-on modules are final, and no refunds are given after successful payment has been made. Sales of all digital goods are non-refundable after activation (immediately). No refunds will be given for exocad dongles or add-on modules. Please note that by purchasing the program or add-on modules, you agree to the terms of the Refund Policy.
- Support
Great Lakes Dental Education, LLC offers exocad and add-on modules “as is” and with no implied meaning that they will function exactly as you would like or will be compatible with all 3rd party components and equipment. We do not offer support via email or otherwise support other programs or equipment, such as scanners and milling units.
The USB license dongle is only transferable to another reseller by contacting us and requesting an official transfer of the license dongle to a new reseller responsibility.
Providing access to training courses and videos does not constitute an ongoing client/consultant relationship under these terms.
Only the license dongle holder is permitted to request support or access support resources.
License dongle purchasers and XOcademy members are not permitted to re-post support forum content or documentation on any external websites, social media outlets, etc. Posting screen captures of this content is also prohibited. Violation will be grounds for immediate termination of all access to support content and product updates will be discontinued.
- Transactional Emails
Great Lakes Dental Education, LLC (XOcademy) may on occasion send you email notifications related to your account or purchase. These transactional emails may include notification of licensing changes, changes to our terms and conditions, license expiration notices and other transactional emails related to your purchase of your license.
- Price Changes
Great Lakes Dental Education, LLC. reserves the right, at any time, to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, website access with or without notice. Prices of all products are subject to change. Notice of price changes will be made on the site.
- Warranty
We do not guarantee your dongle will function with all computer configurations. We are not responsible for any hardware or software compatibility conflicts that may occur. It is our policy to support our software to the best we can and we will provide support for software conflicts at our discretion or as time allows. We are not responsible for any data loss that may occur as a result of installing this program.
