    Started this full mouth rehab in August (just the design work, not the dentistry). Here’s a couple screenshots.

    Used Smile Creator to design the anteriors. Then made models of the full contour designs without modifying the preop teeth. Next, made models of the full contour designs without any tooth structure in the way and designed shell temps with a palatal positioning jig.

    How was the Palatal Jig made? I understand the workflow up to that point.

      It’s a bite splint. Then I bulk up the provisionals on the palatal aspect where the jig approximates the tooth so the meshes intersect and I can print a solid piece. Otherwise, there’s the offset of 0.3mm where the jig extensions don’t touch the crowns.

Now
