Do you design from multiple locations / workstations? I design primarily from two different workstations, and sometimes on a laptop- so three total different computers. I’ve put exocad and the configuration files in Dropbox, as well as the CAD-DATA folder for all the cases so they’re synced across the three devices.

I’ve created 2 folders on our server that is shared on the network. “Scans needing Designed” and “Designs for Milling”. That way designs can be done on different computers, and the designs/construction info can be accessed on the milling computer

I’ve run into small problems if I don’t share the root exocad folder that has all the config.xml files. Settings like minimum thickness, crown border parameters, and model creator parameters don’t save in the CAD-DATA folder. They’re in the program folder. If I don’t sync the program folder, like in Dropbox, all those materials settings get lost. Pain. In. The. Rear.
